What Quant.Skin is
Quant.Skin is a tool for objectively capturing and comparing "before/after" photo, video, and audio material for aesthetic and dermatological procedures, for clinics, independent doctors, and their patients. The service records and compares data — it does not make a diagnosis; the treatment decision is always made by the doctor. Quant.Skin is not a registered medical device and does not replace a specialist consultation.
Roles and access
Accounts are created following a hierarchy: clinic → branch → doctor → patient, or a doctor can register independently, without a clinic. A doctor's access to a specific patient's data is confirmed by a mandate and can be revoked by the clinic, the branch, or the patient themselves.
Your data
Photos, videos, audio recordings, and messages are encrypted on your device before being sent — see the Privacy Policy for details. The doctor who enters medical data (protocols, capture zones, notes) is responsible for its accuracy.
Payment
Some features are available by subscription or a one-time annual license — the exact price and terms are shown in the app before purchase, through the App Store. The purchase is processed by Apple; Quant.Skin never receives your payment card details.
The "Doctor Personal License" is an individual subscription for one practicing doctor, priced for a single user. Using one account across multiple doctors or clinic staff (including on a shared "work" device) violates these terms. Technically, no more than three devices can be signed in at once under one personal license — signing in from a fourth device signs out the oldest one.
Prohibited
- Using the service for the data of individuals who have not given their consent.
- Sharing access to your account with third parties, including splitting one "Doctor Personal License" between several doctors at a clinic.
- Attempting to access data you do not have a mandate for.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." We aim for uninterrupted operation but do not guarantee the absence of outages, and we are not liable for decisions made based on data from the service — the final medical decision always remains with the doctor.
